Congress has no right to demand invite for Ram Temple event, says Union minister Sadananda Gowda

Union minister DV Sadananda Gowda took a jibe at Congress leaders who have been demanding that they be included in the bhumi pujan of Ram Temple in Ayodhya on August 5

Bengaluru: The entire nation is waiting with bated breath for August 5 to dawn as Prime Minister Narendra Modi will lay the foundation stone for the bhumi pujan of Ayodhya Ram Temple. Amid criticism by the Congress and the NCP for different reasons, the Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) defended the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust’s invitation to PM Modi for the bhumi pujan to mark the beginning of the temple construction in Uttar Pradesh’s Ayodhya.
Reacting to Congress’s allegations that the Trust could have invited senior party leaders to the event, Union minister and BJP leader DV Sadananda Gowda hit out at Congress. He said this is not a government function to invite all and also questioned the Congress as to what relation it has with the bhumi pujan of Ram Temple.
