Due to lockdown and reduced human movement, wild honey bees from Kapathgudda forest range were found at a bus stand in Karnataka’s Gadag. Now drivers, conductors and passengers are being attacked as they step into the bus stand while normalcy returns in the fourth phase of lockdown.

The lockdown seems to have got nature back on its feet with peacocks, bears and jackals recently being spotted in residential areas. Now, even wild honey bees find their way into bus stands. Drivers, conductors and passengers are being attacked.

The incident happened at Central Bus Stand at Gadag, Karnataka. It is said that honey bees, which are found in Kapathgudda forest area are now making their way into Gadag and Ballari districts.

As transportation resumed, the bees have been attacking the staff and passengers including the Goa transport department employee, who had come to Gadag‘s Central Bus Stand.
