Bombs recovered from rail tracks in West Bengal
Crude bombs were found under a passenger train in a railway track between Barasat and Hridaypur railway station on January 8
Kolkata: Four crude bombs were recovered by the police from railway tracks near Hridaypur railway station in North 24 Parganas, Kolkata. Meanwhile, 4 socket bombs were also recovered from tracks between Barasat and Hridaypur rail station on Wednesday morning amid a nationwide general strike by central trade unions.
Train services have been suspended due to bomb alert until further notice. The suspected bombs have been disposed by the local administration.
