It is reported that the bag contained improvised explosive device (IED) components. Meanwhile, security sleuths defused the bomb that was found at Mangaluru Airport in Karnataka.

Mangaluru Police have released the photographs of the suspect and the autorickshaw in which a person was seen leaving the airport with a bomb. It is reported that a man arrived at the airport in an auto-rickshaw at 8 am, kept the bag on the chair and left the place at 9.30 am. These movements have been captured on CCTV cameras.

It is reported that the bag contained improvised explosive device(IED) components. Meanwhile, security sleuths defused the bomb close to the Mangaluru Airport in Karnataka.

Reacting to the incident, former chief minister HD Kumaraswamy said, "I am not aware of what bomb it was, and I was informed that a bomb was found at Mangaluru International Airport. The airport is well equipped with CCTV cameras. It is not difficult to catch the person responsible. Our police department has sought little time to identify the miscreants. They shouldn't give another spinoff in a few days. They should present the truth in front of people. The police are responsible for people losing faith in the police department today. I have my doubts about the government using certain factions of the police department for personal favours."
