Bengaluru: BMTC bus information available on your fingertips with Beta version of mobile app

Bengaluru: Searching for a bus from the origin to the destination, looking up ETAs and the stops en-route to the destination all will be right on the fingertips of BMTC passengers henceforth as the BMTC has come up with the new Beta version of MyBMTC App.

According to officials, out of 6,500 buses under BMTC, 80% of buses are connected through the GPS system and their movement is recorded in the server. The services are not limited to any particular route and covers Bengaluru to the point where BMTC has its services.

With this information, passengers can decide to hop on to buses at their convenience, instead of waiting for long hours at a bus stop.
