Air quality worsens in Delhi, again goes ‘severe’

Not just national capital Delhi, but other areas are also choking under bad air quality conditions, including Uttar Pradesh’s Greater Noida and Haryana’s Faridabad.
 


New Delhi: The condition of air quality in the national capital is getting worse day by day. According to the government's air quality monitor, System of Air Quality and Weather Forecasting and Research (SAFAR), PM 10 is 497 and PM 2.5 reached 500 at Safdarjung Area. As a result, a thick layer of smog has covered the Africa Avenue road and Vasant Vihar area in the national capital. Not just national capital Delhi, but other areas are also choking under the bad air quality conditions, including Uttar Pradesh’s Greater Noida and Haryana’s Faridabad.
