Former Karnataka CM installs sanitary tunnel to help keep farmers from possible coronavirus infection

Tamil Nadu has upped its efforts in tackling coronavirus by installing a sanitary tunnel that can sprinkle chemicals to disinfect people. This has caught the attention of former Karnataka CM HD Kumaraswamy, who has now installed the same at Ramanagara Assembly segment. 

To help farmers continue their business and save them from possible infection, former Karnataka CM HD Kumaraswamy has installed a sanitary tunnel that will act as disinfectant-spraying mechanism.

To help the farmers of Channapatna  and Ramanagara, five such tunnels have been installed. 

The former CM is of the belief that to get this initiative approved by the government will take time. He chose to use his resources to get these tunnels installed for farmers. Drawing inspiration from Tamil Nadu, he decided to set up these tunnels.
