Coronavirus: People storm mutton shops a day after Ugadi in Karnataka; maintain social distancing

Even though the sale of meat is exempted, the mutton shops have been instructed to follow stringent rules to ensure hygiene is maintained at all times amid coronavirus lockdown 
 

Hassan: Though strict lockdown has been placed across Karnataka, on the background of Ugadi festival, people were seen flocking to mutton shops in Karnataka's Hassan district. Shop owners made huge business without any fear of spreading coronavirus infection. However, the shopkeepers exercised social distancing and consumers were made to stand apart from each other. It was similar  scenes in Ramanagara and Hosakote as people stormed mutton shops.
