Cops' lathicharge in supermarket puts Bengaluru Police in bad light

Bengaluru: The pressure on policemen to keep people indoors has been building. But does it justify an act of of few lower rank cops who resorted to lathicharge in a supermarket? Many consider acts like these unbecoming of a police personnel and lead people to formulate an opinion that they are misfits who need direction, lest they go astray and misuse their position. 
 
The supermarket staff claim that they followed rules and have no clue why they were beaten up.
