A 22-year-old man was arrested in Lakhimpur Kheri in Uttar Pradesh for allegedly confining and sexually assaulting a 17-year-old girl after she refused to marry him. Additionally, the accused reportedly wrote his name on the victim's cheeks.
 

Karnataka CM Siddaramaiah has formed an SIT to probe sexual assault allegations against MP Prajwal Revanna after obscene videos circulated in Hassan. Revanna claims the videos are morphed, but outrage persists. The State Women's Commission urged an investigation. Revanna's departure abroad adds complexity. The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has initiated an investigation into allegations of land grabbing and sexual assault in Sandeshkhali, West Bengal, following a directive from the Calcutta High Court. The CBI established a dedicated email address for complaints, receiving around 50 within 24 hours. The National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) conducted an inquiry.

A 30-year-old man from West Bengal stands accused of sexually assaulting a 6-year-old girl in Bengaluru's KR Puram area. The incident occurred when the girl's father briefly stepped out, allowing the accused, Mamjul, to allegedly commit the act. Mamjul was swiftly arrested after the father intervened, and the community is demanding justice while authorities prioritize child safety.

The accused allegedly subjected her to confinement, sexual assault, and brutal physical abuse, including being whipped with a belt and battered with a water pipe. He even resorted to rubbing chilli powder on her wounds and sealing her lips with adhesive to prevent her from calling for help.

He has been accused of torturing a doctor by pretending to be her friend and promising marriage.  The investigation was overseen by the Nedumangad Circle Inspector.

The woman was allegedly sexually assaulted by an attendee in the hospital's intensive care unit while she was still sedated after undergoing thyroid surgery on March 18, 2023. he survivor also said that if the statement is not received within two days, she will observe a strike in front of the Commissioner's office.

The Kilimanoor police arrested three accused for sexually assaulting a 16-year-old girl in Thiruvananthapuram.  A case was registered against the accused under the POCSO section and produced in the court and remanded.
