Over 8,500 people sought treatment for fever in government hospitals in Kozhikode district within two weeks, with an average of more than 250 patients per day. Dengue fever and jaundice cases have also been reported, with two deaths attributed to jaundice. 
 

About 20 people were injured and one died after a tourist bus lost control in Kozhikode. the injured were admitted to different hospitals.

In collaboration with the Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) and in adherence to the guidelines set forth by the Election Commission of India, Manipal Hospitals mobilised its ambulance service to facilitate the transportation of these patients to their respective polling stations.
