20 houses gutted as plastic godown catches fire at Nayandahalli

Bengaluru: A plastic godown caught fire and 20 huts situated nearby were gutted near Nayandahalli bus stop on Sunday. At least 10 fire tenders tried hard but the fire could not be doused for a long time as there was huge amount of plastic. So far there is no information about the owner of the godown and any other details about whether it had necessary permission to run. As soon as the fire was seen, people were evacuated from the nearby huts and no casualties have been reported so far.
