Dr Rela speaks about operating on Siddaganga seer, advises 10-week rest
After a successful liver bypass surgery, Shivakumara Swami is awaiting his return to the Mutt.
FollowSiddaganga Mutt seer Shivakumara Swami has been admitted to Dr Rela Institute and Medical Centre in Chennai. The 111-year-old seer was airlifted to Chennai and underwent liver bypass surgery. Dr Mohammed Rela conducted the surgery and has advised eight to ten weeks of rest. The Siddaganga seer looked healthy even after two hours of surgery. The seer is said to have asked his disciples to take him back to the Mutt.
