'Deve Gowda ji may be a political opponent, but I respect him immensely': PM Narendra Modi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi at his rally at Udupi ahead of Karnataka elections 2018 spoke highly of JD(S) patriarch Deve Gowda. He said that whenever Deve Gowda visits him at his residence in New Delhi, PM Modi personally goes out to meet him. He also lambasted Congress president Rahul Gandhi over allegedly showing his arrogance towards the JD(S) supremo.
