Video of python swallowing deer goes viral on social media

 It’s not every day that you get to see a python swallowing a deer, do you? A viral video shows a snake swallowing an entire deer. The two-minute video was shared by Indian Forest Service (IFS) officer Parveen Kaswan on his Twitter handle.

 The clip features what is believed to be a Burmese python. In the video, the snake is seen swallowing the entire deer.

On can observe the extension of the python’s jaw to accommodate the large body of the deer in its mouth.

There are several videos of snakes swallowing insects, rabbits, or mice. But a python engulfing an entire deer, though a common act is not a common sight.
