Haiti Earthquake 2021: Devastating Pictures Show Aftermath

The death toll from a devastating earthquake that struck Haiti on August 14, 2021, has now crossed the 2,000 mark. More than 12,200 people have been left injured after the 7.2 magnitude quake hit the southwestern part of Haiti, about 100 miles (160 kilometers) to the west of the capital Port-au-Prince.

Tens of thousands of buildings were destroyed and damaged in the impoverished country still recovering from another devastating earthquake in 2010.
