It was a chaotic scene at the Mumbai International Airport as rush of passengers on Friday morning for the Navratri festival made the terminal look like a crowded railway station. Reportedly, a number of people missed their flight in all the commotion and blamed the airport authorities for poor management of the crowd that forced them to remain stuck in long queues.

Bollywood singer and composer Vishal Dadlani was one among those who got stuck at the airport during the chaos. “T2 AT CSMIA (Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport) is a shambles. Literally feels like we’re in the dark ages. Endless milling crowds, machines breaking down, tempers frayed, chaos everywhere. Staff doing their best but absolutely unable to cope. Who runs this absolute shitshow? Please tag them,” he tweeted.
