'Why are BigB, Akshay Kumar quiet now?' Congress threatens to disrupt film shoots, releases
Congress party has announced that it will target the movie sets of actors like Amitabh Bachchan and Akshay Kumar, and block the release of their movies in Maharashtra if they don't protest against the Narendra Modi government over rising fuel prices.
Maharashtra Congress chief Nana Patole claimed that the Bollywood celebrities had been very vocal when fuel prices were high during the United Progressive Alliance government's tenure.
"But now, despite crude oil prices being low in the international market, the way in which the Narendra Modi government has been robbing the common man's pocket by increasing fuel prices, why are these celebrities quiet," Patole asked.
