David Beckham to net £150 million as face of Qatar World Cup 2022: Report

Legendary England footballer David Beckham will reportedly be unveiled as the face of the 2022 Qatar World Cup next month in a deal worth £150million.

According to reports, the former England and Manchester United captain’s contract as Qatar's global ambassador is worth £15 million per-year spanning over the next decade.

According to The Sun, the deal will also see David Beckham promote culture and tourism in Qatar.

Reports add that David Beckham's deal came about as a result of his close proximity and friendship with with the Qatari president of Paris Saint-Germain, Nasser Al-Khelaifi.
