Bengaluru: Students of JSS pre-university college, Nanjangud performed a dance to the popular utterance “Nikhil Elliddiyappa” which means “Nikhil, where are you?” HD Kumaraswamy was the one who used this popular phrase, addressing his son, during the audio release of Nikhil's first movie Jaguar in September 2016. After Nikhil was declared the JD(S) candidate for the Mandya Lok Sabha constituency, this popular saying by HD Kumaraswamy went viral. Nikhil, during an election rally in Mandya, referred to the utterance and said he would be in Mandya till the last breath.
