Bengaluru: The Special Investigation Team (SIT) probing the multi-crore I Monetary Advisory (IMA) scam, brought the founder-owner of the IMA Group, Mohammad Mansoor Khan, to Bengaluru this morning. The prime accused has been taken to the zonal office of the Directorate of Enforcement (ED) in Shanti Nagar and has been handed over to their custody for three days until July 23.
Mansoor Khan can be seen escorted by officials into an elevator. The officials surrounded him while standing in the elevator.
He was arrested in New Delhi on Friday (July 19) and is being questioned by the ED, said a SIT official.
Khan, who had fled to Dubai, flew back to India and was arrested after he landed in Delhi.
The SIT said that its sources in Dubai persuaded him to come back and submit himself before the law.
