Government school roofless after heavy rain in Nelamangala; 20 electric poles damaged

Roof of the government school in Govenahalli, Nelamangala, near Bengaluru, has been completely damaged. Also, more than 20 electric poles have been damaged. Power supply also has been disrupted in and around Nelamangala.

Nelamangala: Heavy rainfall in Nelamangala, near Bengaluru, on Friday (June 7) caused heavy damage in the area. The roof of a government school at Govenahalli in Nelamangala was completely damaged. Students and teachers were shocked to see the school roofless when they came in for morning classes. In addition, more than 20 electric poles were also damaged in Talekere and Thippagondanahalli. Two transformers have been damaged at Arebommanahalli. Power supply to most of the regions in and around Nelamangala have been disrupted.
