Bengaluru: Former Karnataka minister BZ Zameer Ahmed Khan on Friday (September 20) distributed biriyani to the pilgrims at Ajmeer Dargah and offered prayers for DK Shivakumar and other Congress leaders, who are facing ED, I-T and CBI probe.
Speaking exclusively to Asianet Newsable, Khan said whenever he feels sober, he pays a visit to Gharib Nawaz and holds prayers. "Not only for DK Shivakumar, I came here seeking God's blessings for all the strong, opposition leaders, who are victims of BJP's vendetta politics," he said. Khan also hinted that CM BS Yediyurappa-headed Karnataka government will not last long as trouble is brewing following rebel politics. Disgruntled Congress and JDS leaders, who were instrumental in bringing down HD Kumaraswamy government have been ignored, he said. Khan arrived at Ajmer on Thursday late evening after appearing before the CBI as part of the IMA scam probe.
