Bengaluru school to provide extra two marks for students if parents cast their vote

Bengaluru: While there are many awareness programmes on voting being witnessed, Gurukula International School in Bengaluru has gone one steap ahead and decided to provide two marks extra for each student, if their parents cast their vote in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.

If both the parents cast their vote, the child would get overall four marks in extracurricular activities. However, this initiative from the school authorities has inspired their students to take their parents to the polling booth to cast their valuable votes.
