Poverty-stricken remain starved, parched in Amritsar post coronavirus lockdown

India has entered day 3 of nationwide lockdown announced to fight the coronavirus spread. While all have been asked to stay indoors, there are several from the poor sections of the society, who are bearing the brunt of this. While the government has announced ration subsidies, several of the downtrodden in Amritsar have no access to food and water. Here is a ground report.
