Policewoman on duty verbally abused by drunk AIADMK worker

An AIADMK worker who was in an intoxicated state verbally abused a woman sub-inspector on duty in Tamil Nadu. The accused is identified as Kadirdantapani. The incident occurred on April 21, at Kallakurichi Mathur checkpost.

The police officer Manimeghalai, who was on duty, is seen questioning the cadre for roaming the streets in a car during the lockdown and for being intoxicated. The member in response is seen abusing the police officer in his car. As the video of abusing the SI went viral on social media, citizens have questioned how he got liquor and the permission to travel during the curfew.
