Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the 6.5 km Z-Morh Tunnel in Jammu and Kashmir, enabling year-round access to Sonamarg. Built at ₹2,700 crore, the tunnel is a strategic and economic milestone, enhancing tourism, military logistics, and regional development. Another major project, the Zoji-La Tunnel, is underway.
