The Bairabi–Sairang rail line has made history by linking Mizoram’s capital Aizawl to the national railway network for the first time. Started in 2014, the ₹8,071 crore project spans 51.38 km with 48 tunnels, 55 major bridges, and India’s tallest rail bridge, standing taller than Qutub Minar.
