Karnataka govt ropes in actor Puneeth Rajkumar to spread awareness about COVID
Be it grooming new talent, offering support to fellow actors or feeding the poor during pandemic, the Rajkumar family does everything without any expectations.
In the latest case, actor Puneeth Rajkumar has been roped by Government of Karnataka to spread Covid awareness.
The 30 second video begins with Puneeth Rajkumar (Appu) greeting and straight away appealing to the public not to take Covid second wave lightly.
He further states that when eligible each one should get vaccinated and should not panic in case anyone gets infected and rather than panicking, the patients should approach the health center without much delay.
The actor has not charged a single pie for the ad with a mindset of public service. Earlier too, when the state government reached out to him for an advertisement to promote Karnataka Milk Federation's Nandini Milk, he did it for free to encourage dairy farmers.
NOTE: Asianet News humbly requests everyone to wear masks, sanitize, maintain social distancing and get vaccinated as soon as eligible. Together we can and will break the chain #ANCares #IndiaFightsCorona
