Gangster Vikas Dubey cremated; father stays away from funeral

Kanpur: The slain gangster Vikas Dubey was cremated at the government electric crematorium on Saturday (July 11) in Kanpur. However, his father Ram Kumar Dubey said he had no connection with the gangster and his wife. He said he didn't take part in his son's last rites as he thought Dubey was a blot on the family. He even criticised Dubey's wife Richa for not caring for him during his old age. The gangster's last rites were performed by his brother Dinesh Tiwari with police's help. Dubey’s wife and son were present. Dubey was killed in a police encounter.
