Coronavirus: Karnataka minister appeals to lecturers to evaluate exams, says ‘don't crash their dreams’

Karnataka primary education minister S Suresh Kumar appealed to pre-University lecturers association to come forward and evaluate the exam papers of II PUC students

Bengaluru: As pre-University (PUC) lecturers association threatened to stay away from evaluating the exam papers of II PUC students due to certain demands, Karnataka primary education minister S Suresh Kumar recorded a video where he appealed to the lecturers and the association members to come forward and evaluate the exam papers “as it is a matter of children's future”.

In the video, the minister also assured that he has called for a meeting with association members and assured to make an honest effort in solving their issues.

The minister asked the students not to worry about their future being at stake as he will take the lecturers into confidence.

The exams for II PUC began from March 6 and will be on March 23. He said that in this deadlock between government, lecturers and association, II PUC students should not become the scapegoat.
