Visakhapatnam: TDP president and former chief minister of Andhra Pradesh has been taken into police custody under preventive detention on February 27 by the Visakhapatnam Police. According to reports, the police took him to the airport.
It is unclear where the TDP leader would be taken to.
Since morning, tensions rose in Visakhapatnam. The YSRCP cadre raised slogans and waved black flags at the TDP chief. To end this drama, the TDP workers threw tomatoes and pelted stones.
