Bengaluru’s dusty, dangerous roads amid COVID-19 crisis: Concerned mayor to approach Smart City MD

Bengaluru: Bengaluru's Smart City project has become a point of concern as it lacks work safety standards. While comparing the Indore's project, the city mayor said, the Smart City Project does not follow safety norms. As he came across projects he saw no barricades and no caution tapes to alert the public.

He is also worried about the rising dust in these areas and said this is an added worry during COVID as lungs may get affected. He said he will write a letter to Smart City MD and get the issue addressed at the earliest.
