Hunter becomes hunted: Man shot by associate dies on the spot in Kodagu forest

A case of alleged accidental shooting took place in Kodagu district of Karnataka in which a 37-year-old lorry driver association president died while hunting on Friday night.

The incident occurred in Makkanduru, Madikeri. The victim was shot by mistake and died on spot. His associate Sharan has also suffered injuries, and both were rushed to hospital. The doctors declared victim Shivabopaiah dead on arrival following which his associate Sharan surrendered to police.

A case has been registered at the rural police station.
