At last, bystander stops remaining mute spectator, saves person from getting murdered

Karnataka government took up the Good Samaritan measure to encourage bystanders to volunteer during the time of emergency to save lives. Here’s a case of a bystander, who took the risk to stop a victim from getting repeatedly stabbed by the accused. The CCTV footage is going viral on social media.

Bengaluru: For the first time in recent times, a bystander has come to the rescue of a person, stopping him from getting murdered by an unidentified person. He, in fact, fought back and chased the accused.

The incident happened at Raichur's Netaji Police Station limits in Karnataka and it was caught on CCTV installed shop nearby.

The victim is identified as Ibrahim Khalil and he has been shifted to the hospital. The police are yet to records his statement. It looks like the accused is known to the victim as he is seen having a conversation before launching a surprise attack.

In the video, the bystander can be seen holding a cloth bag standing at a roadside shop and the victim along with the accused are seen standing within five feet distance. The victim is then attacked, and the bystander jumps to action to prevent the accused from stabbing further. He eventually chases the accused away.
