Vijayapura: Karnataka government has passed an order to admit all the patients irrespective of their COVID report. However, a boy from Vijayapura district died due to medical negligence. Yes, 20-year-old Kalappa Doddamani, who was bitten by a snake, was shifted to a hospital on time but doctors refused to treat him. They asked for a COVID test to be done for the patient before treating him for snakebite. Doddamani from Tilagula village of Sindagi taluk in Vijayapura district succumbed without treatment. The victim's family, friends, and relatives were furious with the doctors’ apathy. They protested outside the hospital, demanding justice.
