Bengaluru cop feeds stray dogs during lockdown

Many, on the pretext of feeding animals, are reportedly misusing the pass and roaming around unnecessarily. A sub inspector in Bengaluru has taken up the additional duty of feeding stray dogs. 

While animals are starving during this lockdown, a sub inspector in Bengaluru has taken up the responsibility of feeding stray dogs in his station limits. 

Sub inspector TD Basavaraju attached to Kumaraswamy Layout Police Station said that he has noted few people roaming around unnecessarily under the pretext of feeding stray animals. 

To ensure animals are fed and also to prevent any infection from animalsā€˜ death during this crisis, the cop has joined hands with animals lovers from the area and taken up the responsibility of feeding stray dogs. 

The animals lovers bring a bucket of dal rice and handing them over to the SI twice a day. The police sub inspector, during his rounds, feeds the animals. 

The cop is being encouraged by his seniors for volunteering in this activity.
