Seeking divine blessings, a KSRTC bus driver and conductor performed pooja before starting their assigned bus. The vehicle was in the Mandya depot for the last two months following the lockdown due to coronavirus.
After nearly two months, the Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) resumed operations. A bus driver and conductor at Mandya Depot performed pooja before starting their assigned vehicle.
The KSRTC with over 8,000 buses in its fleet had come to a grinding halt following the lockdown. After few protests, and request from thousands of labourers, KSRTC deployed few buses on emergency basis, to ferry migrant labourers. Safety measures like face masks, hand sanitisers and disinfection process were followed.
