Clash between two groups of priests in Kanchipuram temple

The stage was set for the God's procession during the Brahmotsavam of the Varadaraja Perumal Swamy temple in Kanchipuram district of Tamil Nadu. Just before taking the idol, two groups of priests in the temple had an argument over the rituals. The arguments began heating up delaying the procession, and they began fighting literally. The cops had to be called to pacify the two factions and the procession took place soon after.
