An electric shock near Hasanamba temple caused panic in the Dharma Darshan queue, resulting in minor injuries and a chaotic stampede. The incident, sparked by an LED screen accident, prompted distress among devotees, delaying temple proceedings but leading to no major calamity.

In Yemen's capital Sana'a, at least 85 people were killed and more than 300 were injured in a stampede that broke out during a charity event. According to official assertions from the Houthi-led administration, the rush occurred during a "random distribution" of money in the capital's Bab al-Yemen neighbourhood.

Some of the injured are undergoing treatment in hospital. Naidu, who immediately cancelled the meeting, announced Rs 10 lakh to the kin of the deceased. He also visited the hospital where the injured were being treated.

It is reportedly said that at least three people lost their lives while five others were injured in a stampede that happened during a blanket distribution programme attended by LoP Suvendu Adhikari in Asansol on Wednesday.

A stampede in a well-known market in South Korea's capital Seoul, where a sizable crowd had assembled for Halloween, resulted in at least 151 fatalities and over 100 injuries. More than 40 children were killed on October 1 in Malang, East Java, in what Gianni Infantino described as "one of football's darkest days." "We will demolish and rebuild the Kanjuruhan stadium in Malang to FIFA standards," said President Joko Widodo. 

At least 174 people have died in a stampede at an Indonesian football match that has become one of the world's worst stadium disasters.

The league has suspended games for a week following the riot which claimed at least 174 lives and injured 180. Arema FC team has also been prohibited from hosting for the rest of the competition this season.

Taking to social media, people claimed that they have been standing in the queue since 5 AM and by the time the ticket counters opened, the queue became longer. The authorities in Hyderabad had a tough time managing such a crowd, apparently leading to a stampede.
