Karnataka's Home Minister, Dr. G Parameshwara, announced on Sunday that a Blue Corner notice has been issued and Interpol's assistance is being sought to repatriate Prajwal Revanna, the NDA's candidate for the Hassan Lok Sabha seat, who is embroiled in sexual harassment allegations.

MLA HD Revanna was taken into custody on Saturday by sleuths of the Special Investigation Team, minutes after a court here rejected his anticipatory bail plea in a kidnapping case.

Allegations of kidnapping have surfaced against MLA HD Revanna and his relative Satish Babu, amidst the scandal involving MP Prajwal Revanna. The victim's son filed a complaint alleging that his mother was taken by Satish Babu, reportedly instructed by HD Revanna, coinciding with the emergence of an explicit video implicating Prajwal Revanna. 

The Ministry of External Affairs said that no political clearance was sought from or given by the government to MP Prajwal Revanna, who travelled to Germany on a diplomatic passport. Prajwal Revanna, the grandson of former Prime Minister and JDS patriarch HD Deve Gowda, went to Frankfurt, Germany on April 26. 

HD Revanna, son of former Prime Minister HD Deve Gowda, seeks anticipatory bail amidst his involvement in the Karnataka sex scandal.  Son Prajwal, who is now abroad, has requested time to appear before the SIT in connection with the alleged 'obscene video' case.

The Special Investigation Team probing the sex video case allegedly involving Prajwal Revanna has summoned the grandson of JD(S) patriarch and former Prime Minister HD Deve Gowda to appear before it for investigation within 24 hours.

Former car driver Kartik accused lawyer Devaraje Gowda of involvement in the leaked video scandal implicating MP Prajwal Revanna. Kartik, who suffered injustices from Revanna's family, trusted Gowda with the footage for legal purposes but now faces accusations of dissemination. He appeared before the Special Investigation Team with evidence to support his claims.

The clash unfolded as JD(S) suspended Prajwal Revanna, a sitting MP and candidate from the Hassan constituency, pending the completion of an investigation by the Special Investigation Team (SIT).

A case of sexual harassment and stalking was filed against him on Sunday. The Karnataka government has also established a Special Investigation Team (SIT), which may visit Hassan - the constituency represented by Prajwal in Lok Sabha and where he is contesting again this time - today to investigate the allegations.

Despite the heat, voters displayed high enthusiasm, using umbrellas to cope with the sun, former Prime Minister HD Deve Gowda participated, casting his vote in Hassan.
