In a stern message, Election Commission suspended Telangana DGP Anjani Kumar for going and meeting state Congress chief Revanth Reddy even as counting was on in the state.

Haryana's Home Minister, Anil Vij, has taken a bold step to address the backlog of unresolved cases by suspending 372 Investigating Officers (IOs) across the state. These officers allegedly failed to take appropriate action on FIRs pending for over a year.

According to Director General of Police (DGP) Umesh Mishra, the shocking incident took place on August 31 in Nichalkota village of Pahada Gram Panchayat under Dhariyavad police station limits in the district.
