A woman in Madhya Pradesh's Rajgarh escaped captivity after being chained inside her home and branded with a heated iron rod by her husband. Mangibai Tanwar broke the lock with a stone and walked nearly six kilometres to Khilchipur police station with the chain still around her neck. Police registered a case and arrested the accused husband.

A woman named was attacked with sticks by neighbours in Shivpuri’s Ludhawali area after an old dispute turned violent. The assault, captured on CCTV, has gone viral on social media. Police registered an FIR against four accused persons. Aarti’s family also accused her estranged partner Nandu Rathore of planning the attack. Police are investigating.

Madhya Pradesh police have arrested a couple accused of cheating at least 42 grooms and their families through a fake mass wedding scam in Dewas. The accused allegedly promised brides from an orphanage in Indore, used photos downloaded from social media, and charged victims between Rs 10,000 and Rs 25,000.

A four-year-old girl died of suspected suffocation after getting trapped inside a locked car in Indore during extreme summer heat. Retired judge Giribala Singh denied harassment allegations made by Twisha’s family, who accused the husband and in-laws of abuse and murder.

A SIT has been formed to investigate the death of Twisha Sharma, who was found hanging at her MP home days after alleged dowry harassment and assault. Her husband, lawyer Samarth Singh, and father-in-law have been booked under dowry death laws. 

A sanitation worker, Sunita Bali, was injured in Indore’s Raj Mohalla area after a 100 kg parcel was allegedly thrown from a bus. Police registered an attempted murder case and arrested three accused - Sanjay, Akash, and Tushar.

Delhi Police arrested software engineer Ravi Rathore and two associates for allegedly running a fake online trading scam worth nearly Rs 100 crore. The group created a fraudulent app and website, promising high returns. A complaint from Paharganj led to investigation, technical tracking, and raids in Karnataka and Madhya Pradesh.
