Kaala: If the movie is released, we will hold Karnataka bandh, warns Vatal Nagaraj

Vatal Nagaraj, pro-Kannada activist and chief of Kannada Chalavali Vatal Paksha spoke about not allowing the screening of Kaala movie in Karnataka, starring Rajinikanth, who had spoken against Kannadigas with regard to the Cauvery water issue. He said, "It is clear that Kaala is not being screened in the entire Karnataka. If we are arrested and the movie is allowed to be screened, we will hold a Karnataka bandh. Karnataka police is present to protect the people of Karnataka and not the Tamil people or Rajinikanth's movie. I want to ask CM Kumaraswamy what is the logic behind deploying the police force in front of all the movie theatres?"
