BBMP animal husbandry department has no clue about the stall coming up. BBMP joint director for animal husbandry department says he will inspect the place along with police and take action.

When the country is debating about the cow slaughter ban, in Bengaluru, A vendor is openly selling camel meat right under the nose of BBMP Animal Husbandry Department and police.
The cooked meat like Camel 'Kabab', Camel 'Sheek', Camel 'Tawa', Camel 'Roast', and 'Smoked Meat' is sold at Broadway Road in temporary tent. When Asianet Newsable asked the vendor about the ban on the product and its legal complications in getting the meat, the traders said, "Sab kuch milega (You will get everything here). We have a network and we get the meat. This will be available only during
The vendor added that, he had put the stall last year as well and sold about ten kilo meat every day. "We sell pure item and we do not cheat. The meat should be salty to prove that it is of camels," he said.

Uttam Duggal, from Akhila Karnataka Prayani Daya Sangha expressed shock on the issue and said there is a nationwide ban on Camel slaughter, the police and BBMP animal husbandry department act.
"The issue will attract attention from animal lovers and it may lead to raid. The issue may create law and order problem because of one shop," said Duggal.
Echoing similar sentiments, Sharath Babu, BBMP Wildlife Warden, opined that shop coming in broad daylight selling camel meat is a reflection of BBMP animal husbandry department's failure.
"In 2015, Karnataka High Court banned the entry of camel. People cannot bring in the animal for religious purpose, for entertainment and for consumption. It is a clear violation of HC order. The BBMP must take police and take action, else it may add to tension," he said.
BBMP animal husbandry department joint director Anand who is busy inspecting all the slaughter houses, stalls and giving direction to large animals and poultry to not to throw the waste into drains says,
"I am not aware of the fact. When there is a ban on such product, we should respect. Team of veterinarians along with BBMP ward engineers and police will inspect place and take action,"
