Chiru weds Meghana: After the Catholic wedding, preparations begin for Hindu marriage ceremony

The preparations for the traditional marriage of star couple Meghana Raj with Chiranjeevi Sarja are being done in full swing. Bride Meghana Raj's house at Tyagarajanagar in Bengaluru, is decked up with the traditional tent, made of coconut tree leaves. The ritual of applying turmeric on the bride will also happen today, which is called Arashina Shastra in Kannada. The women folk performed a religious ritual to a stone pillar, which is installed before putting up the tent. The couple will reach Palace Grounds, where various rituals will take place at White Petals, after which the wedding will be conducted. The wedding, according to Hindu traditions will be held on May 2. The couple had a Christian style wedding on April 29.
