Jun 15, 2021, 10:00 AM IST

It has been a year since the Galwan Valley clash between the Indian Army and Chinese PLA personnel. On June 16, 2020, Colonel Santosh Babu and his soldiers may have achieved a whole lot more than just stopping Beijing's expansionist aspirations.

In an exclusive interview to Asianet Newsable's Sunita Iyer, Lt. Gen. Syed Ata Hasnain (Retd), former Commander of Srinagar-based 15 Corps and now Chancellor of Central University of Kashmir, says, "if anyone thinks the Chinese PLA have an advantage over the Indian Army, then think again."

Lt. Gen. Syed Ata Hasnain (Retd) also goes on to talk about the possibility of China's return to disengaged spots in Eastern Ladakh, the United States factor, lessons learnt from the Galwan Clash and more. Watch this video for the entire interview.
