Karnataka: Tahsildar slapped, slippered and heckled for allegedly flashing at widow

In a viral video, a Tasildhar was caught, slapped and hit with slippers by villagers from Chikkodi in North Karnataka for allegedly flashing at a widow.

The incident happened today after the widow had gone to Tasildhar's office to apply for a monthly widow pension.

Immediately the woman came out running and screaming, attracting attention from villagers.

As soon as the woman alleged about the official's behavior, her son and others caught Tasildhar DS Jamadar and beat him up. The police arrived and took Tahsildar and the woman's son into custody.

It is said that the official was also involved in a similar incident earlier too, and as a result, villagers demand strict action.
