Karnataka MLA Ramalinga Reddy resolves to remain with Congress
With the Congress-JD(S) coalition depending on R Ramalinga Reddy to win the trust vote to be held on Thursday, the MLA declared his decision
Bengaluru: When asked about his decision on remaining or leaving the party tomorrow, MLA R Ramalinga Reddy said that he will only repeat what he said when he resigned. He affirmed that he will continue with the Congress.
Earlier reports had stated that the BTM MLA is in a dilemma on whether he should quit the party and join the BJP taking his daughter’s career into consideration.
Reddy was one out of the 16 Congress legislators who resigned from the Congress-JD(S) coalition endangering the stability of the Karnataka government.
"I will continue with the Congress,” Reddy said today (July 17).
