Kallada Travels staff arrested for attacking passengers on Bengaluru-bound bus

Kerala Police on Sunday arrested three Kallada Travels staff for assaulting passengers on board a bus that was headed to Bengaluru

 

Thiruvananthapuram: Two passengers traveling from Thiruvananthapuram to Bengaluru were thrashed by the staffers of the travel company. The staffers allegedly even threw them out of the bus.

Sources said that passengers and the employees of the travel company got into a verbal fight after the bus broke down near Alappuzha.  An alternative bus carrying passengers reached Vyttila. After few minutes into the journey in the alternate vehicle, few employees of Kallada Travels attacked passengers who questioned the staff.

Meanwhile, one of the passengers captured the incident on video and shared it on social media. The employees who attacked the passengers were charged with bailable offences.
